What Sellie does

Sellie is an AI assistant for TikTok Shop sellers. You chat with it over WhatsApp, Telegram or the web dashboard. It watches how your TikTok Shop is performing and reports back on what is selling and what has stalled, tracks what shoppers are searching for on TikTok and where demand outruns supply, and from time to time sends you a ready-made video you can choose to post. Sellie does not post to TikTok for you — you decide what to publish.

Information we collect

• Account details — the name, email address, phone / WhatsApp number, business name, shop address, TikTok handle and brand you give us when you sign up or tell us later.
• Content you share — product photos and images, product and pricing information, captions, and the messages you exchange with Sellie.
• TikTok public data — information Sellie collects from TikTok’s public surfaces about the handle you give us and about the products and searches in your category, such as listings, publicly visible engagement and how often a term is searched relative to others. This is data anyone can see on TikTok; we do not use your TikTok password and you do not give us access to your TikTok account.
• Connected sales data (optional) — if you choose to give us a Windsor.ai API key, we store that key encrypted and use it to read your own TikTok Shop sales figures, such as orders, revenue and per-product performance. This is entirely optional; without it Sellie works from public data only. You can ask us to remove the key at any time.
• Usage and technical data — logs of messages processed and content generated, and standard technical information such as timestamps and error logs needed to run and secure the service.
• Website visits — we count visits to this website with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool we host ourselves. It records pages viewed, referring sites, and general browser, device and country information, without cookies and without identifying you.

How we use your information

• To provide the service — routing your WhatsApp, Telegram and web messages to your store, reporting on how your shop and your products are performing, spotting what shoppers are searching for, and generating captions, images and videos for you.
• To communicate with you — sending service messages, drafts for your approval and results updates, primarily over WhatsApp.
• To keep Sellie reliable and secure — diagnosing errors, preventing abuse and protecting accounts.

We do not sell your personal information.

Connecting your sales data through Windsor.ai is off by default. If you turn it on, you can ask us to delete the key and the data we pulled with it at any time, and Sellie falls back to public data only.

Legal bases (UK / EU)

Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process your information to perform our contract with you (providing the service), to pursue our legitimate interests in operating and securing Sellie, and, where required, with your consent — for example, your consent to message you on WhatsApp and, if you choose to give it, your consent to connect your TikTok Shop sales data through Windsor.ai.

Service providers and subprocessors

We share information with a small number of trusted providers, only as needed to run the service:

• Twilio — delivers WhatsApp messages between you and Sellie.
• Windsor.ai — only if you connect it: supplies your own TikTok Shop sales data to Sellie using the API key you give us.
• AI model providers — process text and images to generate your captions, artwork and videos.
• Hetzner Online GmbH — provides our servers and data hosting in the EU.

Each provider is given only the information needed for its task and is required to protect it.

Data retention

We keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active. Chat history and generated content are retained so Sellie can stay consistent with your brand. When you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we remove it within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records to meet a legal obligation.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal information — including the right to access, correct, export or delete it, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Under UK and EU GDPR you may also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office). To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]and we’ll respond within the time the law allows.

International transfers

Sellie is provided by Neu Software LLC in the United States and hosts data in the EU. Some providers may process data outside the UK / EU; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we’ll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know through the service.
